Digital measurements deal with a variety of quantities, such as logic levels, pulse width, and data errors. Measurement types are important in different areas of electronic testing.
2 The instrument:
There are a number of specialized instruments used for testing. Instruments commonly used include multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. Engineers can use these tools to capture, analyze, and manipulate electrical signals.
3 Techniques for current and voltage measurement.

Oscilloscopes can measure time-related parameters.
5 Network and impedance are measured.
impedance and network parameters are important for signal integrity. Network analyzers can measure a lot of things, from magnitude to group delay. Engineers use these measurements to evaluate the performance of components.
6 Calibration and traceability are related.
Proper calibration of test and measurement instruments is important for reliable and accurate measurement. Calibration establishes the relationship between the instrument's output and the known reference values, ensuring that the measurement is in line with international standards. Calibration helps maintain measurement accuracy.
