1.2 The Peltier effect is a method of cooling that uses an electric current to create a temperature difference. This technique is used in portable electronic devices where cooling is required.
2 Passive cooling solutions.
2.1 The most widely used passive cooling solution is heat sinks. These devices are usually made of materials with high thermal conductivity, such as aluminum or copper. The principle of convection allows heat to be dissipated from the heat source to the surrounding air.
2.2 Thermal Conductive Materials can improve heat transfer between components and their heat sinks. These materials fill in air gaps, which helps with heat transfer.
